MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN, SOPHIA M. SACHS BUTTERFLY HOUSE AND SHAW NATURE RESERVE TO CLOSE THROUGH APRIL 3 

Sites are taking precautions due to COVID-19 

 

(ST. LOUIS) The Missouri Botanical Garden, Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, Shaw Nature Reserve, Litzsinger Road Ecology Center, and Little Shop Around the Corner will temporarily close effective 5 p.m. on March 16. 

 

All three locations will temporarily close daily operations to support the regional effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. 

 

The safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority, and we will continue to monitor developments and reassess accordingly.  

 

All events and programs are suspended for the time being.

 

Individuals who need to rebook or request a refund can do so using the following contacts: 

The public can stay connected to all of our sites online. We will continue to share the beauty of the Garden, Butterfly House, and Shaw Nature Reserve with you during this challenging time through both social media and our website. Please be assured that all plants and animals in our living collections on and off-grounds at all of our sites will be cared for as normal.
