The 2018 SLACO Regional Neighborhood Conference will be held at Forest Park Community College on Saturday, April 14. It will feature keynotes from Amy Hunter and Jimmie Edwards as well as numerous breakout sessions on a variety of neighborhood related topics.
Richard Reilly, the Energy Programs Manager of the Garden’s EarthWays Center will be a featured panelist. He will discuss the intersections of home health and energy efficiency, as well as the value of work such as the Sunflower+ Project as a method to highlight sustainable uses for vacant, urban land.
Reilly’s professional certifications as an energy auditor and healthy home evaluator, combined with his many years of residential construction experience allow him to provide insights into best practices that will positively affect families and neighborhoods.
