Green Schools Quest (Theme: Environmental Justice!)
Have your school join the Green Schools Quest! The U.S. Green Building Council - Missouri Gateway Chapter is challenging public and private schools within the Chapter's territory to devise and implement the most creative, effective and no or low cost sustainable practices for their schools. Participating schools are asked to form a Green Team which may be a single classroom, a grade level, an entire school or a student club. This year’s theme is Environmental Justice. If you are not connected with a school but still want to be involved, consider becoming a mentor for a school. You can share unique expertise with schools that may be looking to start a school garden, complete an energy audit, or start a recycling program.
