Join staff from the EarthWays Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden to learn how to be the best zero-waste ambassador you can be! Get a basic understanding of waste - including an overview of landfills, recycling centers, and composting facilities, gain experience talking to others about waste, and so much more. There are two more training opportunities this year coming up at the Commerce Bank Center for Science Education (4651 Shaw Blvd.):
Volunteer as a Zero Waste Ambassador at Japanese Festival or Best of Missouri Market. Not only will you helping the Garden divert waste, but you will be able to attend the events for free before or after your shift! Register for a training and a volunteer shift today at: http://www.mobot.org/volunteer.
New this year: the bright yellow Zero Waste Ambassador t-shirt, made from recycled polyester and sustainable cotton.
