This year participants experienced a virtual showcase of green living best practices during our Virtual Green Living Festival. Presented by Ameren Missouri, the online event celebrated the Missouri Botanical Garden’s dedication to sustainability and EarthWays Center educated the community about practical, sustainable solutions in the areas we live, learn, work, and play.
With help from various divisions of the Garden, EarthWays developed and offered the first of the Garden’s signature events held virtually June 6, 9, and 11 - all online! The three days highlighted: Green Living, Energy and Efficiency, and NatureScaping. Event Summary impacts included:

Bonus: Year-round green living and sustainability resources available anytime and place! We will continue to share these resources and content to provide them to our various audiences.
What: Local sustainability experts presented digital demonstrations on topics including recycling, environmentally-friendly transportation, energy efficient homes, solar, air quality, green farming practices, and landscaping. Participants enjoyed a mix of live panels, demonstrations, recorded tours, and Q-and-A sessions.
