Butterfly on coneflowerOn Wednesday, April 29, Shaw Nature Reserve will play host to “Biodiversity, Bluegrass & Bar-B-Que.” Congress delegates will trek to Shaw Nature Reserve to explore the Reserve’s Ozark Border landscapes and natural communities, including floodplain forest, upland woods, dolomite glades, tallgrass prairie, oak-hickory woodlands and savannas, and wetlands.

An early evening reception is planned amid the Whitmire Wildflower Garden, a setting like none other. Delegates will enjoy award-winning, local smokehouse fare while taking in the sounds and strings of Missouri Breaks, a progressive bluegrass band featuring long-time Missouri musicians.
