Celebrating the Garden's ongoing botanical research in China, 22 all-new sets crafted from silk and steel once again offer visitors from around the world the opportunity to experience an event rarely staged outside of Asia.

Powering Lantern Festival

Electricity used for the Lantern Festival was matched with renewable energy certificates (RECs) from a Missouri wind farm through the Ameren Missouri Pure Power program. By matching the electricity with RECs, the Lantern Festival has a zero carbon footprint from electricity usage.
