For families with kids ages 6-12. Learn about nature with your family as we have fun outdoors! Each program involves an outdoor activity using our senses to discover what’s around us as you master a skill.

Families with kids ages 6-12. Fishing is not normally allowed at the Nature Reserve, but the Missouri Department of Conservation is teaming up with the Nature Reserve to provide a special fishing experience for first-time or young anglers (6 to 12 years old) wanting more experience. Equipment, bait, and assistance will be provided. Fishing is for kids only. A parent or guardian must be present. Kids can choose to catch and release or watch fish-filleting demonstrations.
