Lucien Rasoaviety is the site facilitator of Ambalabe conservation site, one of the two conservation sites managed by the William L. Brown Center (WLBC) of the Missouri Botanical Garden in Madagascar. He has a Bachelor degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management from the University of Toamasina, Madagascar. He coordinates all the field works related to the conservation of Vohibe forest in Ambalabe. He supervises and provides technical advice to the local site staff and monitors the progress of every implemented activity. He maintains the WLBC's good relationship with the local community and various local partners. He has lived with the Ambalabe community for almost 13 years, and thus has great knowledge of all aspects of life in the Ambalabe community.
