2015 BGCI Congress to present diverse range of sessions

posted on

More than 170 different botanic garden educators will be facilitating sessions, ranging from panels and workshops to round tables, world cafes and a technology showcase!

Innovative and energizing session formats are planned for the Congress including “Pecha Kucha” and “Dragon’s Den.”

  • Pecha Kucha is a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each. The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced, enables multiple speakers to chime in on a singular topic.
  • Inspired by a reality TV show, Dragon’s Den will feature delegates pitching ideas/concepts to “dragons” who will then provide critique and feedback.
