Travel to wine-producing regions around the world through a five course dinner hosted by a visiting wine expert. Chefs from Catering St. Louis will create the regional menu, pairing each course with a different wine from the same region.

This month’s wine dinner will be paying tribute to the Tomato Festival in Spain. La Tomatina tomato fight in Buñol near Valencia
happens every year during the summer. The highlight of the festival is the tomato fight which takes place between 11am and 1pm on a designated day. The event has become one of the highlights on Spain’s summer festivals calendar with thousands of people flocking to this little Valencian town for this chaotic event. While we won’t be throwing tomatoes, we will be feasting on culinary treats made with tomatoes and the delicious wines that compliment each course. Our wine expert is Jack Guinan from Avivo Vino Wines serving a diverse selection of Spanish Wines.
