Whitaker Music Festival

The open-air Whitaker Music Festival presents free Wednesday evening concerts under the stars every summer.

The festival is funded by the Whitaker Foundation, which supports St. Louis arts and parks to promote common heritage, celebrate diversity and encourage vitality within the community.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic supper, baskets or coolers. Please limit glass. Picnic fare, beer, wine, soda and sno-cones are also available for purchase on-site.

Glass at the Garden

In an effort to ensure your safety while maintaining our beautiful grounds, the Garden asks that you limit the amount of glass that you bring into the Garden. Below are ways that you can help us eventually achieve our goal of a glass-free Garden and still have an enjoyable time during your visit:
  • Transfer wine or beer from glass bottles to reusable beverage containers, such as insulated carriers, prior to your arrival.
  • Purchase beverages that are pre-packaged in glass alternatives, such as boxed wine. Beer, wine, and even some cocktails are available in cans or tetra packs at most retailers.
  • Enjoy beer, wine, and cocktails available for purchase onsite at the Catering St. Louis tent.
