Information for Researchers

Welcome to the new Science and Conservation page!

We've made some changes to make the information that was previously available through our MBG Research site easier to navigate and part of the Missouri Botanical Garden's website. To help you get familiarized with it during the transition, we've created this quick guide so you can find what you need fast.

We invite you to explore the fascinating work that the Garden's research team does. Thank you for visiting!

Main Navigation

The main navigation on the left contains general information about the work done by the Garden's Science and Conservation Division. This includes exploration, systematics, climate change research, our library services and catalog, publications and much more. It also takes you to the top three botanical electronic resources that the Garden offers: Tropicos, Botanicus and the upcoming World Flora Online.

Quick Links

You'll also see a list of Quick Links on the top right that give you direct access to some of the most popular and specialized research topics no matter where you are on the Science and Conservation page. And don't forget to explore the different geographic areas where the Garden does research and maintains programs dedicated to further its mission to discover, share and preserve plant knowledge.
