This free walk-in service available Monday-Friday from 9 am - 3 pm in the Center for Home Gardening. Expert staff and Master Gardeners are available to answer your gardening questions. Our Plant Doctors can also test the pH of your soil free of charge while you wait.

Available by phone Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to noon, (314) 577-5143. Staff and Master Gardeners are available to answer your gardening questions and can assist you in navigating our Gardening Help information on our website.
E-Mail Us Your Questions
You may email us your gardening questions to plantinformation@mobot.org. Please include images of a plant to be identified or problem to be diagnosed, along with a short description of the issue, such as where the plant is located, when does the plant bloom, when did the disease/insects first appear, etc. You can attach them to your email.
